Weddings are a real speciality at Mushroom and when working with clients on their special day we have two key objectives.  Firstly, we want to help take the stress and hassle out of the catering element of the wedding and secondly we want to make sure that the quality of food and service on the day are of the very highest quality.

In order to achieve these twin objectives we work very closely with the couple and their families to help develop a menu which really excites them, do the detailed planning which is so essential on these occasions and ensure that everything goes like clockwork of the day.

We know that each couple is unique and will have a vision of what they want for the big day and we will work very hard to ensure that their vision becomes reality.  We also know that budget is an issue and we want to make sure that our clients get the very best quality that their budget will allow.  We are experienced in matching menus to budgets and we want to share this experience with you.

We have catered for a wide variety of weddings – ranging from those with a very traditional British feel and flavour through to more exotic Thai-themed occasions.  The style of cuisine we produce varies according to our clients’ requirements but our commitment to quality never wavers.

Gill Holland, Mushroom’s founder is a real sucker for a good wedding, ‘I really love catering for weddings – they’re always such fun occasions and nothing makes me happier than adding to the happy couple’s enjoyment on the day.’

'Hi Gill, can't believe that the wedding was two weeks ago… feels like an age ago almost a dream! Well it all went like one. I have had so many compliments about the meal… everyone is raving about it… and having attended a House of Commons canapés event with Freda and Sue from the office earlier this week your scored 20/10 whilst the HoC ones about 2/10! I am assuming you don't do events up this way as if you did you would clean up!' Alison.
